Di foto ini, kamu bisa lihat kombinasi hard coral yang membangun struktur reef selama puluhan hingga ratusan tahun dan soft coral yang menambah warna & “movement” di dalam ekosistem. What a wonderful underwater world 💙
Giant coral di depan itu bukan cuma besar tapi sudah berusia sangat tua. Dia tumbuh sangat lambat, hanya beberapa cm per tahun, tapi jadi rumah penting untuk banyak makhluk laut 🪸
Melalui Reef Health Monitoring @wwf_id , kami belajar membaca “tanda-tanda” seperti ini karena reef yang sehat bukan cuma indah, tapi juga penting untuk keseimbangan laut dan kehidupan kita 🌏✨ Apa yang kita jaga hari ini, menentukan masa depan kita semua.

Di balik setiap data bawah laut, ada teamwork yang nggak kelihatan dari permukaan jadi sekalian deh kita kenalan sama mereka. Ada Roll Master yang pasang `transect` untuk jadi acuan arah, ada yang fokus meneliti ikan kecil, ada yang mantau ikan besar, dan ada yang “baca” kondisi terumbu alias tim bentik.
Berbeda tugas namun tetap satu tujuan: menjaga laut kita tetap lestari 🪸💙 Let`s give our round applause and also supports!

The vibrant coral colors of Alor, beautifully captured by @underwater_secret 🌊🪸💙🫶🏻 It makes me so happy to see a reef full of life, thriving in every corner. Truly, Alor is one of the magical places on our planet, so it’s up to us to protect it 🌏✨
Oleh karena itulah @wwf_id melakukan Reef Health Monitoring di tahun 2026 ini untuk memantau kondisi terumbu karang di area perairan Selat Pantar dan semoga dari hasil penelitian, bisa menjadi tolak ukur dan acuan pengembangan konservasi laut dan wisata bahari yang berkelanjutan 🫶🏻

Kalau bukan karena perjuangan Ibu Kartini, kami bertiga mungkin tidak bisa berkarir dan berkarya seperti sekarang. Ada Marine Scientist @ciciliavalensi , ada @windriani the brave female solo traveler + freediver dan ada aku @satyawinnie Scuba Instructor + Extreme Sport Enthusiast. Semua pekerjaan ini pasti tidak terbayang bisa dilakukan oleh para perempuan di era Ibu Kartini.
Kalau Ibu Kartini membuka jalan di darat, perempuan hari ini melanjutkannya di bawah laut. Dari permukaan hingga kedalaman, kami ada, kami mampu, kami setara. 🤿🪸💙✨
