In cave diving, imagine being hundreds of meters from the nearest exit. No direct access to the surface. Who would you want beside you?
I trained with my team in Singapore and Bali for a year before we decided to get the full cave certification. The idea of exploring the underwater cave is exciting, but that’s not what I’m looking at. I’m looking at the people I’d trust with my life first before I enter the environment that only has one entrance/exit point.
Now you know in the cave your teammates aren’t just dive buddies. They might be your way home.
