Cave diving into the caves of Muna in Southwest Sulawesi feels like entering a lost world, a hidden world beneath the earth ✨

No direct access to the surface. No sunlight. No shortcuts. Ancient limestone, fossils, tight restrictions to hugeeeee chamber, Muna has it all. Can you believe that some parts of these caves were once open ocean, thousand of years ago?

I was lucky to have @jims.journal and @byap87 by my side (and @matt_f91 of course). We trained together in Singapore for a year before our cave diving course with Sifu @sf__chong @sanctumexploration , and it paid off. We built a solid team where we trusted each other with our lives, underwater and beyond 🤙🏻

And even luckier during my first encounter to cave diving I had @halim_maswar & @blubird_66 took amazing shots in underwater caves, which was hard to do but they nailed it! Thank you so much Om Halim and Bird 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
